Carol's third dulcimer orchestra book features 14 new songs in 200 pages!
Each of the 14 arrangements contains a minimum of five parts arranged for standard, baritone, and bass dulcimers.
There is something for everyone in your ensemble, from Brave Beginner to Adventurously Advanced! Every arrangement includes an EZPZ part which doesn't require a 1+ fret and rarely goes above the 5th fret, and has simple rhythms tailor-made for players with less experience. Players with more experience will be challenged by syncopated rhythms and "bent strings" to achieve chromatic notes not commonly available on a diatonic dulcimer.
Many of these arrangements are more lengthy and more complex than usual, but everyone in your group will be able to participate and play every song!!
Your purchase price includes access to downloadable soundfiles which have been recorded at the suggested performance tempo, plus recordings of each individual part at a slower tempo for practicing.
The book also contains detailed information related to each title along with suggestions for successful practice and performance.
In addition, you'll have access to a webpage that offers videos to help with the "Tricky Bits" in this book. (Tricky Bits videos are not ready yet -- please check back later.)
Also available is a digital edition, which includes the full PDF exactly as it appears in the print edition, AND 14 separate files -- one for each piece -- suitable for loading into ForScore or Mobile Sheets or other similar apps for your iPad or tablet.
A "Combo" package is also available: Purchase the print edition and you'll also receive the ForScore files for a small additional amount.
