Carol's second dulcimer orchestra book is the biggest yet -- a whopping 220 pages!!
Each of the 12 arrangements contains a minimum of five parts arranged for standard, baritone, and bass dulcimers. Every song includes a baritone part, and several songs also feature the Dulcimette!
There is something for everyone in your ensemble, from Brave Beginner to Adventurously Advanced! Every arrangement includes an EZPZ part which doesn't require a 1+ fret and rarely goes above the 5th fret, and has simple rhythms tailor-made for players with less experience. Players with more experience will be challenged by syncopated rhythms and executing "bent strings" to achieve chromatic notes not commonly available on a diatonic dulcimer.
Many of these arrangements are more lengthy and more complex than usual, thus the hefty 220 pages! But everyone in your group will be able to participate and play every song!!
Your purchase price includes access to MP3 downloadable soundfiles which have been recorded at the suggested performance tempo.
The book also contains detailed information related to each title along with suggestions for successful practice and performance.

Also available is a digital edition, which includes the full PDF exactly as it appears in the print edition, AND 12 separate files -- one for each piece -- suitable for loading into ForScore or Mobile Sheets or other similar apps for your iPad or tablet.
