Videos
The four videos below were filmed at the Perkasie (Pennsylvania) Patchwork Coffeehouse on May 17, 2014, where I was one of the featured performers, along with hammered dulcimer artist, Rick Thum. I had an absolute blast!!

The Fairies' Reel
-- a delightful traditional Manx tune. It starts out with me noodling around, looking for the melody and the right sound, and ends with a neat surprise! You can find this song in Tailless Tunes 2. (played on my Bear Meadow Standard Hourglass) |

Song of the Water Kelpie & Little Red Bird
Two haunting Manx tunes combined into a medley in E-minor. Both songs appear in my first Manx book, Tailless Tunes. (played on my Bear Meadow Standard Hourglass) |
You're Never Too Old & Sheena's Waltz -- by Manx composer Laura Rowles
Laura wrote these tunes for her father's wedding to her new step-mum, Sheena. When I asked her about the title, she replied that her mum had died when Laura was very young, and her father waited until he was 65 to remarry, hence the title. Both these arrangements appear in Tailless Tunes 2. (played on my Bear Meadow Standard Hourglass) |

The Bugs Bunny Whapsody
And now for something compwetewy diffewent.... Many people tell me they learned everything they ever needed to know about classical music by watching Bugs Bunny cartoons. I selected snippets from famous classical pieces and put them into this medley, and asked the audience to identify them. They actually did pretty well! How many can YOU name? (Played on my Laurel Mountain Custom) |
