Pocono Hornpipe -- for Pocono Dulcimer Club
This tune was written in 2012 by Naomi Hostetler, who attended our Pocono Winter Dulcimer Festival. Everyone liked it so much that we decided to arrange it for our club members.
Below are several links that will help you learn the song, and prepare for our performance in January, 2014. You'll find several different versions to try -- beginners and novices will enjoy working on these, while more advanced players will have something new to practice.
Please note that all these arrangements are written for DAD tuning, and require a capo on the 3rd fret.
You'll also want to spend some time listening to each audio sample that will give you an idea of how each part sounds, along with a mini-lesson on how to play L-shaped chords.
Happy practicing!!

The two tracks on the right are just the melody, played on my melodica. You'll have fun playing along with these tracks!
